Sri Kumar Trading

You can find Sri Kumar Trading at No. 319/155 on Linghi Street. If you know this part of the city, you know how narrow and crowded the streets are. Our shop is right in the middle of all that noise. We deal in general trading, so our stock changes depending on what is in demand at the time. The space is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes. Sometimes it is hard to even find a place to sit down. We spend most of the morning unloading new arrivals and the afternoons trying to get them out to our customers. It’s a lot of lifting and carrying. Linghi Street is always full of people, so there is never a dull moment. We have a small desk tucked in the corner where we keep our accounts and a landline phone that rings more than it should. We aren't trying to be the biggest trading house in the world. We just want to make a living and keep our regular customers happy. The tea stall next door is where we get our breaks. It is a dusty, busy environment, but we are used to it after all these years. We don't use much technology besides a basic calculator and the phone. Everything else is just hard work and being here every day.
