Down on Thirunana Sambadhar Street in Padi, you can find our little place, Sri Aarumugam Acupuncture Clinic. We are at No: 27/17, a small building that fits right in with the rest of the street. Acupuncture is what we do here, and we have been doing it for quite some time now. It’s a quiet, humble sort of shop. We do not have a big neon sign or anything like that; just a simple board outside so people know they have found the right house. Inside, it’s very calm. We have a couple of treatment rooms with the tables and the needles we use for the sessions. The street outside in Padi can get a little noisy with bikes and people walking by, but once you step inside, it’s different. We aren't about fancy slogans or making big promises. We just see people who have aches or pains and try to help them out using the old methods. A lot of our regulars are folks from just a few streets away who have been coming here for years. They know us and we know them. Sometimes we have to move things around to make more space, as it’s not the biggest clinic in the world. We do not have a website or a big social media page. Most people find us because a neighbor told them where we were. It’s a local business in the truest sense. We like being part of life here on Thirunana Sambadhar Street and just doing our work.
