Soft Systems & Solutions

Soft Systems & Solutions is on the second floor of building sixteen on GST Road in Guindy. It’s right across from the Sisi Academy. Being on GST Road means it is easy to find but the traffic is usually quite heavy, so you have to be careful when you’re pulling in. You have to walk up to the second floor to find our door. We deal with systems and solutions, mostly for small businesses or individuals who have tech troubles. The space is fairly basic. We have a few computers set up and a table for meetings if anyone needs to talk through a project. Guindy is a big commercial hub, so there are always people around. We get a lot of noise from the main road, but you get used to it after a few weeks. The office isn't anything special to look at, just white walls and some desks. We focus on the work rather than the decor. It’s mostly just me and a colleague working here most days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or troubleshooting software issues. Sometimes we have to go out to visit clients at their own offices, but mostly we are here at the desk. We keep a kettle for tea and some snacks in the drawer to keep us going. It’s a simple way to spend the day. Most people who come to see us are looking for practical help with their IT stuff. We try to be honest about how long a job will take for them.
