Slow Comp

We’re over at No 60, situated near Butt Road and Magarine Road in St Thomas Mount. It’s a bit of a quiet corner compared to the main highways, which we actually like. The name Slow Comp sometimes makes people chuckle, but we just take things as they come. Our shop is small, filled with computer towers, loose cables, and old monitors that we haven't quite decided what to do with yet. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know where the screwdrivers and the spare RAM sticks are kept. We spend a lot of time hunched over desks, looking at motherboards and trying to figure out why something won't boot up. St Thomas Mount is a nice area, and we get a lot of locals walking in with their laptops tucked under their arms. We don't have a big storefront with neon lights. It’s just a simple door and a window that gets a bit of sun in the afternoon. Sometimes we stay late because a repair is taking longer than we thought, but that's just how it goes with electronics. We don't try to sell people things they don't need. Usually, it's just about getting their old machine running for another year or two. It’s a modest living, and we enjoy the technical puzzles that come through the door every day. We’ve been here long enough that people just know to come to No 60 for help and a bit of a chat.
