Shri Puttru Makarakshi Siddha Clinic

Our clinic is situated at No 1/98 Kalamegam Salai in Mogappair West. We are very easy to find because we are right near the Mogappair West bus depot, which is a major landmark in this part of town. This is a Siddha clinic, so we do things a bit differently than the big modern hospitals you see elsewhere. The air inside usually smells like herbs and traditional preparations, which is something our regular patients have come to expect. It is a small, humble space that fits right into the neighborhood. People come to us from all over Mogappair when they are looking for traditional methods for their ailments. We don't have a fancy computerized check-in system or anything like that. You just walk in, find a seat, and wait your turn like any other local shop. The bus depot nearby means there is always a lot of movement outside, but inside we try to keep things calm and focused on the treatments. We spend a lot of our time explaining how the different Siddha medicines work and how to take them at home. It is a very practical, down-to-earth way of helping people stay healthy. Most of our visitors are people who have been coming here for years, and now they bring their children or grandchildren too. It is just a simple place on Kalamegam Salai doing what we have always done for the community without any extra fuss.
