Shreestone, Inc.

We have been here on Jayabaratham Street for a while now. Most people in the neighborhood know us as the stone place near the corner. It is a busy part of Kodambakkam, so things stay moving around here. Shreestone, Inc. is basically just us working with different types of rocks and slabs every day. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It is mostly just the yard and the equipment we use to get things ready for whoever needs them. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty when we are cutting, but that is just how the job goes. People stop by to look at what we have in stock and we show them around. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the deliveries come in late and it gets a bit messy for a day or two. If you are walking down number 2, you will see our sign. It is not a huge place, but we have enough space to store the materials and do the work. My cousin started helping out last year which makes things easier when there are heavy pieces to move around. We just focus on getting the stone cut right and making sure it gets where it needs to go. We are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. It is steady work and it keeps us busy enough. No one here is a salesman, we just talk about the stone.
