We’ve been set up here at Shiftx in Sholinganallur for a bit now. Being over in Tower C at Rattha Tek Meadows on OMR means we get a lot of that IT corridor energy, though the traffic getting into the Workafella Business Centre can be a real headache some mornings. Level 4 is where most of us hang out during the day. It’s a decent space with plenty of desks and that typical office lighting. We don’t really do fancy descriptions of our work here. People just come in, grab a tea from the break area, and get to their computers. It gets pretty busy around noon when everyone heads out for lunch or waits for their food deliveries. Sholinganallur is growing fast, and you can see new buildings popping up every month from our windows. We like it here because it feels like we’re in the middle of things, even if the OMR dust gets everywhere. It isn't a huge operation, just a group of us trying to keep things running smoothly. The office has a mix of quiet hours and times when everyone is talking over each other. We’ve got some plants that someone tries to keep alive, and a couple of stacks of old paperwork that we’ll probably never file. It’s just a normal workplace. If you’re ever stuck in traffic on the main road, you’re probably looking right at our building without even realizing it. We just keep doing our thing every single day. The view from the fourth floor is mostly just other buildings.
