Our place is located in Mahalingapuram, on Lady Madhvan Road. We use the address New No. 2, though some people still know it as Old No. 29. It can be a little confusing for delivery drivers sometimes, but they eventually figure it out. This part of Chennai has a certain feel to it, a mix of old houses and newer offices. At Sharp Business Systems (India) Ltd., we mostly spend our time managing the daily operations and making sure the inventory is where it should be. The office isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we need. We have a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of equipment sitting around. The heat in the summer can be quite something, so we’re thankful for the air conditioning, even if it makes a bit of a racket. We don’t have a big corporate lobby with a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don’t need to say much to know what needs doing. We start early to beat some of the traffic and usually head out once the sun starts to go down. It’s a steady pace of work without too much drama or excitement. We just focus on the business at hand and try to keep things organized on Lady Madhvan Road without getting overwhelmed.
