Ace Impex

We are located at 12 & 13 in the basement of Sindur Plaza, which is at 42 Montieth Road in Egmore. Being in the basement means it stays a bit cooler, but we don’t get much natural light. We’ve been at Ace Impex for a good number of years now. Egmore is a busy part of town, and Montieth Road always has something going on. Our office is a bit of a maze because we have so many boxes and files stacked up. We deal with a lot of paperwork and shipping details, so there’s always a printer humming in the background. It’s not a place for visitors to come and be impressed by the decor. We have mismatched chairs and a coffee machine that’s seen better days. The team is small, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s answering the phone or moving crates. Sometimes the basement gets a bit damp when the monsoon hits, but we’ve learned how to deal with it over the years. We usually grab a quick bite from the stalls outside Sindur Plaza. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have any big slogans or flashy marketing. We just come in, handle the imports and exports, and try to keep everything organized. It’s a steady pace, and we’re happy with how things are going. It works for us.
