Ajantha Fab

Ajantha Fab is located at 164 T T K Road in the Royapettah area. It’s a busy street and there’s always something going on outside our door. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite some time now. It’s a workshop style setup where we spend the day working on different fabrication tasks. The machines make a fair bit of noise, but that’s the sound of work getting done. Royapettah is a central place, so it’s convenient for people to stop by when they’re in the neighborhood. We don’t have a big reception area or anyone in a suit greeting people. It’s usually just one of us with grease on our hands or carrying some materials. We keep the doors open mostly to let the air circulate because it gets hot with all the equipment running. Sometimes we have to move things out onto the sidewalk for a minute just to turn a large piece around. People walking by on T T K Road are used to us by now. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people just see the sign or hear about us from someone else nearby. It’s a practical way to run a business. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get things out the door on time. The building is older, but it holds up well for the kind of work we do and we keep things moving along.
