Shanti Chemicals

If you have ever been to Govindappa Naicken Street, you know exactly how crowded it is. Our place, Shanti Chemicals, is at number 97. It is right in the middle of all that chaos where people are constantly moving goods and shouting to get through the narrow gaps. The street is famous for shops like ours, so there is always a lot of activity from early morning until late at night. Our shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have with shelves stacked high with various items. It can be quite a struggle to get deliveries in and out because the road is so narrow and there are always scooters and carts blocked in. We spend a lot of time just talking to people who walk in and out all day. The air usually smells like different chemicals and dust, which is just part of being in this line of business on this specific street. It is a very old part of the city and you can see it in the buildings and the way the shops are built right next to each other. We don't have any air conditioning that works very well, so it gets pretty hot in the summer months. Most of us have worked here for years and we know the neighbors well. It is just a simple operation and we don't try to make it sound like anything else. We just get the work done.
