Seed is tucked away at 21/9, Third Avenue, in the Indira Nagar part of Adyar. It’s a relatively quiet spot compared to the main roads, which makes it a decent place for the kind of learning we do here. We spend most of our time dealing with students and the usual daily tasks that come up in the office. The space isn't very large, so we all know each other well and there’s usually some conversation going on about the morning commute or where to grab lunch. Indira Nagar has a lot of trees and that nice Chennai breeze sometimes, even if it gets humid. We’ve set up our rooms to be practical. There are computers, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of materials that the students use. People drop by from time to time to ask about our courses, and we just handle things as they come. Being on Third Avenue means we are close to some good cafes, which is a plus for everyone. We don't really do the whole corporate culture thing here. It’s more about getting the work done and helping people pick up new skills before they head home. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a minute or we run out of stationery, but that’s just how it goes in a small setup. We like the neighborhood and the people who live around here. It feels like a real community where we just get on with our tasks.
