Scom Infotech is based at 17/22 on Narasingapuram Street, which is just off Mount Road. If you know that area, you know how busy it gets. It’s one of those parts of the city where there’s always something happening, and we are right in the thick of it. Our office isn't very large, but we make the most of every square inch. We deal with tech stuff, which basically means a lot of computers, servers, and cables running everywhere. It’s not the neatest place you’ll ever see, but we have a system that works for us. We spend our days troubleshooting problems and setting up new systems for whoever needs them. The street outside is narrow and usually packed with vehicles, so we mostly stay inside and focus on the work. We aren't a big firm with a bunch of executives. It’s just us, a few technicians who like to figure out how things work. Sometimes we’re so busy we forget to take a lunch break until late in the afternoon. We don’t have a flashy sign or a big lobby. People usually find us because they need something fixed and someone told them we could do it. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense environment. We just want to get through our to-do list and make sure the technology we handle is doing what it’s supposed to do. Sometimes the noise from Mount Road filters in, but we just turn up the radio or focus harder.
