Scanet Exports Ltd.

We are located at No. 4, Jayalakshmi Puram, on First Street in Nungambakkam. It’s a central part of the city, so there is always something going on nearby. Scanet Exports Ltd. has been operating out of this building for a while now. The office is tucked away a bit, which is nice because it keeps things a little quieter than the main roads. We mostly deal with exporting goods, which sounds complicated but mostly involves a lot of checking lists and making sure the math is right. It’s a small group of us here. We usually start the day with some tea and a quick look at the emails that came in overnight. Nungambakkam is a good area, though the parking can be a real nightmare if you don’t get in early. We’ve seen other businesses come and go on First Street, but we’ve managed to stay put. We don’t have any big slogans or anything like that. We just focus on the shipments we have for the week. Sometimes things go smoothly and sometimes there are delays at the port, which is just how it goes in this line of work. We try to keep things simple and honest. Most of our day is spent on the phone or at our desks. It’s a regular job for regular people. We like the local shops around here for lunch, and we’ve become familiar faces in the neighborhood over the years we have been here.
