Our place is over on 7th Cross East in Thilai Nagar. It’s an old building, No. 43, and it used to be D-16 back in the day. It’s a bit of a maze inside with different rooms for different parts of the business. We call ourselves a group, but really it’s just a bunch of us working on various projects under one roof. Some days it’s quiet, just the sound of keyboards and people talking on phones, and other days it is chaotic with people coming and going. The stairs are narrow and a bit creaky, and the tea stall down the street is basically where we have our unofficial meetings. We handle a lot of paperwork and technical stuff. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and find whoever you’re looking for. Sometimes people get the address mixed up with the old number, but the locals know where we are. We’ve been in this part of town for years now. The weather gets really hot in the afternoons, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. There isn't much more to it than that, just a local team trying to stay organized and get through the list.
