Sanoj Technologies Private Limited is located over in Old Washermenpet. If you have ever been to Bashiyam Naidu Street, you know it can get pretty crowded with people and traffic moving through. We are on the first floor of the building, specifically at New No 27, which used to be Old No 9/2. It’s one of those parts of Chennai that has a lot of history and energy. Climbing up the stairs to the office every morning gets the heart rate up a bit, which is probably good for us. The space inside is mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of cables everywhere. We do tech work here, but we don’t talk about it like we are changing the world or anything. We just try to fix things and build what is needed. Some of us have been here since the start and we know the local tea shop guys pretty well. Sometimes it gets loud outside because of the market area, but that is just how Old Washermenpet is. We like being in this part of town rather than those big glass buildings in the IT parks because it feels more real. You step outside and you are right in the middle of everything. It’s a bit dusty sometimes and the 600021 zip code is a busy one, but we make it work every day without much fuss.
