S R Water Corpporation

It is pretty hot in Saidapet most of the year, so being in the water business keeps us busy. We are located at number 64 on Kothawal Chavadi Street. It is a narrow road and sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting in and out, especially in the mornings when everyone is out. We spend most of the day filling up containers and making sure everything is clean. There is always water on the floor, no matter how much we mop it up. It is just how it goes here. We have a few guys who handle the heavy lifting and the deliveries around the neighborhood. People stop by the shop quite a bit because they know we are usually here from early morning. We do not have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just some chairs and a desk where we keep the accounts. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is quiet enough to hear the birds outside. We have been in this spot for a good while now. The neighbors are mostly other shops and houses, so we know everyone’s face. It is a simple setup at S R Water Corpporation. We just try to make sure nobody is waiting too long for their supply. Dealing with the pipes and the pumps takes up a lot of our time. It is hard work but it keeps the lights on. We just take it one day at a time.
