S. K. & Co.

We operate S. K. & Co. from our office at 157, Avvai Shunmugan Salai in Gopalapuram. It is a nice, tree-lined street that feels a bit more relaxed than the main commercial hubs of the city. Our office is fairly simple. We don’t have any modern glass walls or expensive art. Instead, we have stacks of paper and old wooden shelves that hold our files. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and it has become very familiar to us. We handle different kinds of trade and consulting, so our days are mostly spent on the computer or the phone. We are a small team, and we don't really have a strict hierarchy. Everyone just chips in and does what is necessary to keep things running smoothly. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy websites. Most of our work comes from people we have known for years. Gopalapuram is a good neighborhood to be in. We know the local coffee shop owners and the people who work in the nearby buildings. It’s a very grounded environment. We don’t have a grand vision or anything like that. We just want to do our work well and be fair to everyone we deal with. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, but we don’t mind it. It’s just how we run things. We prefer this quiet, steady way of working.
