Our workshop is located at Plot No. 11 on R. P. Sundaram Street in Ramapuram. We are on the 2nd Main Road of Venkateshwara Nagar, which is a fairly quiet residential area with some small businesses mixed in. It’s a decent place to work, away from the worst of the city traffic. We’ve got a small team here at Rv Tools, focusing on exactly what the name suggests. The shop is filled with various bits of equipment, and it can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of material sitting around. We don’t use any fancy computer systems for the most part, just our eyes and the manual tools we’ve used for years. The routine is the same most days—opening up the shutters, checking the list of things to do, and getting the power running. We often talk to the neighbors as they walk by, and it feels like we’re a real part of the Ramapuram community. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes the metal too hot to touch, so we slow down and drink plenty of water. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a polished image. We’re just a local tool shop trying to do honest work for the people who need it. The floor gets swept at the end of every day, but by the next morning, the dust is back. That’s just the way it goes when you’re working with your hands in a place like this.
