Rm Computers Pvt. Ltd. is based in the VGP Mall on Anna Salai. Being in a mall means there’s always people walking by, which is nice. We are at number 17. It’s a convenient spot for us, even if the mall itself gets a bit packed on the weekends. We’ve set up our space to be functional. There’s a lot of hardware around, and the cables can get a bit tangled behind the desks no matter how much we try to tidy them up. We aren't a big corporate chain. We’re just a group of people who know a lot about computers. We spend most of our time testing things or fixing what’s broken. It can get a bit dusty with all the fans running, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a person in a suit greeting you. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't buried in a screen at that moment. We’ve been on Anna Salai for years, and we’ve seen the shops around us change quite a bit. We’re still here, doing the same stuff we’ve always done. It’s a steady pace. We like the routine of it. If you need us, we’re usually here from morning until the mall starts to quiet down. The mall security guys know us well enough by now. We usually share a few words when we’re coming in or heading out to get some fresh air.
