Right Hospitals is located at No 1 on Prof Subramaniam Street. If you know where the Ega Theatre is in Kilpauk, we are right behind it. It’s a busy little stretch of road. The hospital has been here for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot. Inside, it’s a typical hospital environment with a pharmacy and beds for people who need to stay. We don't have any shiny brochures or fancy lobbies. It’s just a place where doctors and nurses do their daily rounds. People come in for all sorts of reasons, from minor things to more serious health issues. The hallways can get a bit cramped when it’s visiting hours. We have a small staff at the front desk who tries to keep the files in order, though it gets hectic on Monday mornings. It’s not the quietest building because of the street noise and the general hum of a medical facility. We just focus on getting people checked and sorted out. Most of our patients are locals from Kilpauk who have been coming here for generations. We don't do much in terms of promotion. Most people just know us because of the location behind the theater. It’s an honest, working hospital. We take things one day at a time and try to help the people who walk in. It is a simple way of running things, but it works for us and the people in Kilpauk. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. Just a local hospital doing what it can on Prof Subramaniam Street. We are here every day of the week, just keeping the doors open for those who need a doctor.
