We are located at Plot No. A-27/1 in the Sipcot Industrial Growth Centre. This is out in Mathur Village, near the Oragadam area in Sriperumbudur Taluk. It’s a long way from the city center, and it’s a very industrial part of the world. Huge factories are all around us. At Ricelake Weighing Systems India Ltd., we have a decent-sized place. It’s mostly used for the scales and weighing equipment we handle. The building is functional and solid. There’s a lot of space for testing and assembly. Because we are in a growth centre, the roads are wide, but there’s always construction or large trailers blocking the way. The sun is really strong out here in Oragadam, so the building gets quite hot. We spend our days making sure the scales are accurate. It’s precise work even if the environment is a bit rough around the edges. We don’t have a polished showroom. If you visit, you’ll see the actual production and testing happening. Our team is a mix of local people and some who commute from further away. We have a small canteen where we get our food. It’s a quiet place in terms of chatter, as everyone is usually focused on their tasks. We don't bother with fancy slogans or big promises. We just make sure the weighing systems do what they are supposed to do. It’s hard work in a busy industrial hub.
