Being on the third floor means we spend a fair amount of time waiting for the lift, which can be a bit slow on Monday mornings. The office itself is quite functional. We have a few rows of desks and a small area where we keep our files. It’s not a shiny, glass-walled place like you see in the movies, but it works for us. The main road outside is always loud with the sound of trucks and buses passing by. We’ve grown used to the hum of the traffic while we work on our resource systems. Lunch is usually a simple affair, with most of us bringing tiffins from home and eating together in the small break area.
