Our shop is tucked away on E V R Lane, right near First Med Hospital in Kilpauk. It’s a busy little corner of P H Road. We’ve been here for a good while, helping people with their phones and recharges. Being so close to the hospital means we see a lot of people who are in a hurry or just passing through. The space is small, but we make it work with what we have. It’s mostly just shelves with various bits and bobs for mobile phones. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their signal issues or helping them pick out a basic phone that actually works. It gets dusty because of the road traffic outside, so we are always wiping down the counters. We aren't part of some big chain, just a local shop trying to stay busy. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird noise, but it keeps the place cool enough during the summer months. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us taking turns behind the counter. It’s a simple life, opening up the shutters in the morning and seeing who walks in. We know most of the other shop owners on the lane too. It’s a decent place to work. We don't do anything too complicated, just mobile services and some basic accessories. It’s what we know how to do, and we’ve been doing it at this same address for years now.
