We’ve set up our workspace here to handle all the import and export tasks that come our way. It is mostly just us sitting around a few desks, tracking shipments on our computers and making sure the logistics side of things doesn't fall apart. Pallikaranai is a growing spot, and we like being part of the local scene here. Every morning starts with checking emails and seeing what arrived overnight. Sometimes there are delays at the port or issues with the trucks, and we have to spend the whole morning sorting that out. It can be frustrating, but that is just the nature of this trade. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just a practical office where we get things done. We try to keep a decent pace throughout the day so we don't get overwhelmed. Most of our neighbors are also busy with their own shops, so there is a nice energy in the building. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure everything is packed and documented properly. It’s a lot of small details that you have to get right every single time or things get stuck.
