Ranga's Lungies

We are located at 44 Kanjipuram Street in Cobatur. This place has been around for a long time, selling lungies to anyone who needs them. It’s a traditional kind of business, passed down and kept going because people around here still appreciate a good piece of cloth. The shop isn't modern. We have stacks of fabric reaching up to the ceiling and the smell of fresh cotton everywhere. It’s a bit dusty sometimes, but that’s just how it is when you deal with textiles all day. We spend a lot of time talking to weavers and making sure the patterns are what people like. It’s not just about selling; it’s about knowing the material. Most of our customers have been coming here for years, and now their kids come too. We don't have a website or fancy apps. If you want to see what we have, you just have to come to Kanjipuram Street and look through the piles yourself. We try to keep the prices fair because we know everyone is working hard. Sometimes we run out of a popular color and have to wait for the next batch, but people usually don't mind waiting. It’s a simple life running a cloth shop in Cobatur. We sit on the floor, drink tea, and talk to whoever walks in. It’s honest work and we like it that way. We've been at this address since I was a boy and plan to stay.
