Global Net

Global Net is over at No. 25- 22 Vedagiry Street. It’s a small place, really. We’ve got a couple of computers and a lot of wires running along the walls. This street is usually pretty quiet, which is nice compared to the main roads. We deal with all the internet stuff and local networking for the houses and small shops nearby. Most of the time, I’m out on the bike checking lines or fixing a router that someone’s kid messed up. When I’m not out, I’m sitting here in the shop waiting for people to come in with their laptops or just to pay their bills. The space is a bit small, just enough for a counter and a few chairs for people to wait. We’ve been here at Vedagiry Street for a few years now. The neighbors are good people, and we all kind of look out for each other. I don’t use any of those big corporate words to describe what we do. We just fix the net and make sure people can get online. It’s a simple business. Sometimes the rain messes with the connections, and those are the longest days for us. We end up working late into the evening. But mostly, it’s just a routine. We open up in the morning, check the logs, and see what needs doing. It’s just a local shop trying to stay helpful to the folks on this street and around the corner.
