If you drive down Mount Poonamallee High Road, you’ll see how much traffic there is these days. Our spot, Rajnayaki Impex, is located at No. 2/112b in Kattupakkam. It’s a busy area, but we like being where the action is. The office is pretty basic, just some desks, chairs, and a few computers that have seen better days. We spend a lot of our time looking at spreadsheets and talking to shipping agents. The dust from the high road is a constant battle, so we’re always wiping down our screens. We don't have any fancy meeting rooms or a lounge for visitors. If someone comes by, we just pull up a spare chair and offer them some water. It’s a small operation, just a few of us trying to keep things moving. We deal with a lot of different items coming through, and every day brings something a little different. Sometimes the internet goes slow, which can be frustrating when we’re trying to track a container. We just wait it out and keep working on other things. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big offices or polished speeches. We just want to get the job done right and make sure the goods get where they need to go. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and that’s how we like to keep it.
