Purplestraw Software Private Limited is situated in Purusawalkam, Chennai. Our office is at New No. 79, which used to be Old No. 30, right on Dr. Alagappa Road. If you know Chennai, you know this area is always moving and can get pretty loud with all the buses and bikes passing by. We are a software group, and we’ve been working from this spot for some time. The office itself is practical. We have enough space for our computers and a small area to sit and talk. It’s not the kind of place with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, one of us just opens the door. We spend our mornings checking emails and our afternoons writing code or testing things. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing. Sometimes we go out for tea at the local stall nearby to get a break from the screens. The building is a bit old, but it works for us. We don’t really use big words or talk about changing the world. We just take the projects that come our way and try to finish them without too many bugs. It’s a regular job for us. Everyone here lives fairly close, so the commute isn't too bad most days, though Chennai traffic is always a bit of a gamble. We just keep things moving and stay focused on the tasks on our desks.
