Polaris Software Lab

Polaris Software Lab is based down in Chennai, specifically at 31 Jeevan Nagar 3rd Street in Adambakkam. It’s a bit of a residential area, so our office is tucked away on a smaller street. It can be a little tricky for delivery drivers to find us the first time they come by. The weather in Chennai is almost always humid, so the air conditioning is probably the most important thing in the office. We are a software lab, which basically means we spend most of our time staring at screens and testing out different programs. The office is pretty small and cramped with books, old hardware, and coffee mugs. We don't have a big corporate culture here. It’s just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes to eat for lunch. Adambakkam is a good spot because it’s not as crazy as the city center, but it still has everything we need close by. We don't put out fancy brochures or try to sound like a big multinational. We just do our software work and try to stay on top of the tasks we’re given by our clients. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, but other days are hectic when things aren't working right. We’ve been at this 3rd Street address for quite a while now and the neighborhood feels like home to us. It’s just a simple, honest way to run a software lab.
