Periamet is always crowded and busy. Gt India Pvt. Ltd. is located up on the second floor at 249 Sydenhams Road. Climbing those stairs every morning definitely keeps us awake. The building is on the older side. You can hear the constant noise from the street all day long. There are horns, people shouting, and all the usual city sounds coming through the windows. We have been operating from this specific spot for a while now. It gets a bit cramped inside the office with all the papers and boxes piled up. We have a few desks squeezed in together. It is not the kind of place you would see in a glossy magazine. It is just a real workplace. We deal with whatever work comes through the door. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow and we just have to deal with it. The windows do not always open the right way. Most of us take the bus or ride a motorbike to get here. Sydenhams Road is often a mess during the monsoon season. We try our best to keep the floor clean but it is hard with everyone coming in from the rain. We know most of the other businesses in the building. We usually just nod to them in the hallway or the stairs. It is a practical way to run a business. We do not spend money on fancy signs or decor. People find us if they need us. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
