Padmapriya Hospital

If you are looking for us, we are right near the Adyar Post Office on 1st Avenue in Indira Nagar. Padmapriya Hospital is basically a local fixture at No 28. It is one of those buildings you probably pass all the time if you live around here. We handle a bit of everything, which keeps the days pretty long. People come in with fevers, or sometimes it is something more serious that needs a few days of staying in a bed. The hallways can be a little narrow when it is busy, but we manage. Being in Adyar means we get a lot of regulars who have been coming to us for years. You get to know the families. The staff here has been around for a good while, so they know where everything is kept. It is not one of those massive glass hospitals you see in the movies. It is more of a practical place where the focus is just on getting people back on their feet. Sometimes the traffic outside near the post office makes it a bit noisy, but once you are inside, it is mostly just the sound of nurses moving about and the fans humming. We do not do anything flashy, just the regular hospital work that needs doing every single day. Whether it is a check-up or something else, we are just here doing our jobs at 1st Avenue. It is a lot of work, but it is what we do.
