Orthomed Hospital

We are located at New No. 83 (43) on Royapettah High Road, which most people know as being near the Ajantha Bus Stop. Being so close to the bus stop means there are always people walking past our doors. Orthomed Hospital isn't hard to find if you are coming through Royapettah. The building has a bit of age to it, but we keep everything functional inside. On a typical day, we start quite early, long before the traffic on the High Road really picks up. We have a lot of patients who come in for bone issues or regular check-ups. The waiting area is often full by mid-morning, and we just work through the list as fast as we can without rushing the actual care. It’s a lot of filing papers, checking vitals, and making sure the rooms are ready for the next person. The staff here is a mix of people who have been here for years and some newer faces. We all just muck in and do what’s needed. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon break. It can be stressful when the emergency ward gets a sudden influx, but that’s the nature of hospital work in a place like this. We don't have any big flashy signs, just the name out front. We’ve become a bit of a landmark for people getting off the bus at Ajantha. It’s just our daily life here on the road.
