We are located at numbers 184 and 187 in the Temple Steps building. It’s on Anna Salai in Saidapet, very close to the Saidapet Bridge. This is a big office building and we take up a good chunk of space here. It’s a place where a lot of software work happens every day. The office has the usual stuff you’d expect—rows of desks, computers, and meeting rooms that are almost always in use. Even though it’s a large company, the day-to-day feel inside is just people doing their jobs and trying to solve technical problems. The area around the bridge is always packed with people and buses, so getting to work can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We have a cafeteria where most people hang out during lunch, and that’s where you hear most of the office chatter or talk about what's for dinner. It’s not all high-pressure all the time; there are moments when things are quiet and we just focus on our screens. We don't spend much time thinking about things like a corporate image while we are actually working. We just want to get the code right or finish the project on time. It’s a lot of typing and a lot of meetings. Being on Anna Salai means we are in the thick of things in Chennai. It’s a busy place to work, and the commute can be long, but we’re just a bunch of regular people.
