If you go down 6th Main Road in Dhandeeswaram Nagar, you will find us at No.6B. This is Ootp Technologies. We are tucked away in Velachery, which is a busy part of Chennai but our specific street is a bit more relaxed. We have been working out of this location for a good bit now. It is a practical space. We have our servers, our workstations, and a small area where we eat our lunch. We do not really go for the whole corporate look. Most of us show up in casual clothes and just get to work. We spend a lot of time looking at data and trying to build software that makes sense for people. Velachery can get flooded when it rains heavily, so we have had our share of interesting days trying to get to the office. But we like it here. It is close to everything we need. The team is a mix of people who have been in tech for years and a few newer faces. We learn from each other as we go. There is no big hierarchy here; we just sit around and discuss what needs to be done for the day. It is a very hands-on kind of environment. We do not make big promises, we just try to be reliable and do the work that is expected of us. It is a small business feel in a big city, and that suits us just fine.
