Our office is at 263 Bharathi Street in Salem. We are located on the first floor, specifically Upstairs II. It’s one of those buildings where you have to watch your step on the stairs because they are a bit narrow and steep. Being in Salem means the weather is usually quite warm, so we have a few fans going all the time to keep the air moving around the room. Odugaatech is really just a bunch of us working in this small space. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby with a receptionist to greet people. Most days are spent sitting at the desks with various gadgets and computers around us. The street outside is pretty typical for Salem, with bikes zooming past and people shouting to each other in the mornings. We like the energy of it. Inside, things are a bit messy with papers and cables everywhere, but we know where everything is. We started this because we wanted a local place to do our tech work instead of moving to a big city like Bangalore. It’s honest work, and we put a lot of hours into it. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat or ask for help with something small. It feels like a community spot more than a business. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand until the day is over.
