Chemet is located at 8-J in the Century Plaza, which is right on Anna Salai in Teynampet. If you know Chennai, you know how busy Anna Salai gets at all hours. Our office in Century Plaza is right in the middle of all that noise and movement. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. It’s a professional building but our office feels quite lived-in. We have bookshelves and old files stacked up because we’ve been doing this for a long time. We don't really go in for the modern minimalist look. We just have what we need to get through the workday. Most of our work involves dealing with clients who need specific technical or chemical-related supplies. It’s just about getting the right orders out on time. The traffic on Anna Salai can be a nightmare sometimes, so we often stay late to let it clear out before heading home. We aren't a massive multinational corporation; we are more of a steady, local fixture in the Teynampet area. People who work with us know they can just call and talk to a real person without going through a bunch of phone menus. It’s a simple way of doing business and it has served us well over the years. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing our part and keeping things moving. We have known some of our customers for a long time and they just drop by for a chat sometimes. It's just a regular office.
