Novascotia Boutique Homes

Our base is in Chennai, and we spend most of our time moving around the different neighborhoods. We deal with boutique homes, which means we are often at construction sites or checking on finished apartments. The traffic in the city is pretty bad these days, so a lot of our day is spent behind the wheel of the car. We don’t have a central shop where you can just walk in and buy something. It’s more about meeting people at the properties and showing them around. We carry a lot of keys and clipboards with us. The humidity in Chennai can be really tough on the buildings, so we are always looking for signs of damp or peeling paint. We have a small office where we keep all the files and the ledgers, but it’s mostly just for storage. We aren't a huge company with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team of us who know the local real estate market. We spend a lot of time talking to plumbers, electricians, and painters to make sure things are kept in good shape. It’s not always easy work, and there are a lot of phone calls at odd hours when something goes wrong at a property. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep everything running smoothly for the people living in the homes. It’s a lot of responsibility but we’ve been doing it for a while now.
