Norton Inc. is up on the second floor of the B.N.S. Complex on Brickin Road. We are at number 127, right in the heart of Puraswalkam. It is a busy area, and finding a parking spot is usually the hardest part of the morning. Once you get up the stairs to our floor, it’s a bit quieter than the street below. We’ve been in this complex for a while. The hallway has a specific smell of old paper and floor cleaner. Our office is pretty straightforward. We have some computers, a few filing cabinets that don’t always close right, and a window that looks out over the rooftops. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at our desks. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. Puraswalkam is a lively place to be, and there are plenty of spots nearby to grab a quick snack when we have the time. We aren’t a huge corporation with thousands of employees. We’re just a small team trying to get through the week's work. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to do, and other days we can leave a bit early if things are slow. We don’t have any fancy mission statements hanging on the walls. We just come in, do what needs doing, and head home to our families. It’s a regular office in a regular part of Chennai.
