Our office is in Kilpauk, on Second Street in the Secretariat Colony. It’s on the second floor of a building that’s been around for a bit. Chennai weather is usually hot, so we try to keep the place cool while we work on our export orders. We deal with a lot of international shipping, which means we are always looking at schedules and port updates. It’s not just sitting at a desk; there’s a lot of coordination involved with different people. We moved to this New No. 51 address some time ago and it’s been a good spot for us. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads. We don’t really do big advertising or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. We just try to get the goods where they need to go without too much fuss. Sometimes there are delays with the ships or the weather, and then we have to spend the whole day fixing the schedule. It’s just the way this business works. We don't have a big HR team or anything fancy. It's just a few of us here making sure the crates and papers match up. We’ve learned over the years that being consistent is better than being fast and making mistakes. It's a busy life, but we like being right here in the middle of things.
