Vpr Fashion Designers is pretty easy to find if you know where the Badanpalani landmark is. That’s the main thing people use to get to our door. We aren't in one of those big glass buildings you see in the city. It's more of a local, lived-in spot where we do our designing work. We have sketchbooks and measuring tapes scattered all over the tables and chairs. It looks a bit chaotic to an outsider, but there is definitely a system to it. The landmark of Badanpalani is helpful because the small streets around this area can get very confusing for visitors. We spend most of our day sitting under the bright lights, trying to get the small details right on the fabric. It’s a lot of manual work and our hands are usually busy with something. We don't have a receptionist or a front desk. If the bell rings, one of us just gets up and opens the door to see who it is. Usually, it’s just a delivery person or a neighbor coming by to chat. The air in the room usually smells like a mix of new fabric and ginger tea. We like it that way. It’s a comfortable space even if it is a bit small for all the stuff we have. We don't have any big corporate goals or missions. We just want to finish the designs we started in the morning. It's a quiet life right here.
