Soft Touch

Soft Touch has been here on Appu Street for a while now. Most people know the area because of the temple nearby, but finding us can be a bit tricky if you are looking at the old door numbers. We are at New Number 35, which used to be Old Number 22. It’s a busy little stretch in Mylapore. You see a lot of people walking by every morning, mostly locals heading out or grabbing something from the nearby shops. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular spot where we get our work done. Sometimes the street gets crowded with parked scooters, especially during the festival times when everything in Mylapore slows down to a crawl. We like it here though. There’s a certain rhythm to this part of town that you don’t get in the newer areas. Our space is functional and keeps us busy. We don't really go in for big signs or loud colors. It’s just us doing what we do every day. Most of our neighbors have been around for years, so everyone sort of knows everyone else. If you are coming down from the main road, just look for the turn toward the residential side. It’s quiet enough to focus but close enough to the main action that we don't feel isolated. We’ve stayed put because it works for us and the people who need to find us usually do without too much trouble. It is just a normal place on a normal street.
