M.L. Chemcials (India) Pvt. Ltd. is at No. 43, Edapalayam Street, just off Wall Tax Road. This part of the city is incredibly busy and there is always a lot of noise from the traffic and the markets nearby. Our building on Edapalayam Street is tucked away, but it is always humming with activity. We have been here for many years, so we are used to the narrow streets and the difficulty of finding a parking spot. Inside the office, it is quite plain. We have some old wooden desks and shelves filled with ledgers and sample bottles. We deal with a variety of chemicals and spend our days coordinating with transporters and customers. It is not the kind of place where you would see people in suits. We wear what is comfortable for a long day of work. Sometimes the humidity makes it a bit tough, but we have our fans running. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy websites. Most of our customers find us because we have been here so long. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure every shipment is correct. It is a lot of paperwork and physical labor, but we are a good team. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to do our jobs well and keep the business running like it always has. Every day is different, but the work stays the same.
