Mercury Software And Technologies is situated on the Iind Floor of No. 10,, Avenue Road in Nungambakkam. Being on the Iind Floor means we have to climb a few flights of stairs every morning, which is a good way to start the day, I suppose. The office isn’t massive, but it’s enough space for our team to sit with our computers and get things done. Avenue Road can be quite busy, and Nungambakkam is a hectic part of the city, so there is always a lot of noise from the cars and bikes down below. We have the air conditioning running most of the time to drown out the sound and keep the room cool. Our desks are usually covered in cords and papers, and we have a small corner where we keep the water cooler. It is not the most stylish office in the world, but it is where we do all our work. We do not really have a lot of visitors, mostly just us coming in and out. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we just take the stairs instead. We have got a routine down where we arrive, check our messages, and settle in for the day. There are plenty of shops nearby if we need to grab a snack or some stationery. It is a practical location for Mercury Software And Technologies, and we have made the space our own over the months.
