It’s a typical Chennai suburb with a lot of growth happening. The building we are in is relatively new, but it already feels lived in. We are on the first floor, so we don't have to wait for the elevator, which sometimes has its own moods. The space inside is one large room that we’ve divided up with some low partitions. It’s not private, but it helps us stay focused. We have a lot of equipment lying around, mostly old monitors and boxes of cables that we might need someday. The lighting is just standard fluorescent tubes, so it can feel a bit bright, but it’s better than working in the dark. We have a small balcony where some of us go to take phone calls or just get some fresh air. The view is mostly of the neighboring apartment buildings and the street below. 3rd Main Road gets quite busy, so there’s a constant hum of engines and horns. We’ve grown used to it over time. We aren't a big team, so we all know each other’s habits and who makes the best coffee in the little kitchen corner. It's a simple setup but it works for what we need.
