Max Overseas

Max Overseas is tucked away at 17, Samudra Mudali Street. This part of the city is very old and the streets are quite narrow. You really have to know where you’re going to find us. It’s a busy trading hub, and there is always something being loaded or unloaded from handcarts. Our building is old, with those steep stairs and small rooms. We’ve been operating out of here for a long time. It’s a lot of paperwork and tracking shipments. Since we deal with overseas stuff, the timing can be a bit weird sometimes. We might be here late waiting for a call or an update from a different time zone. The office is crowded with boxes and files. It’s not very organized to a stranger, but we have our own system that works. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. Usually, the door is just open and you can walk right in. It’s a very grounded way of doing business. We know the other traders on Samudra Mudali Street well. We often share news about shipping rates or local port issues over a quick lunch. It’s a tight-knit community in a way. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, moving goods and making sure the documents are right. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we know how to do best in this little corner of the world.
