Our office is right in the middle of the action at No. 10, Sir Thyagaraya Road in Pondy Bazaar. If you know T.Nagar, you know how busy and loud it gets with all the shoppers and traffic outside. We are on one of the floors of the building there, and sometimes the noise from the street filters up even with the windows shut. It’s a small, crowded office because we have a lot of computers and hardware squeezed into the space. We don’t have a lot of room for fancy lounges or meeting halls, so we usually just talk across our desks. The energy of Pondy Bazaar is right outside our door, which is great when you want to grab some street food for lunch, but it can be a bit much when you’re trying to focus. We’ve been here for a while and the staff is used to the hustle and bustle. There are stacks of paper on some of the desks and various gadgets being tested in the corners. It’s a very busy environment, and we are constantly working through a list of tech issues. We don’t worry much about how the place looks to outsiders; we just care about making sure the work gets done correctly. The location is the main thing for us, being so central in Chennai. It’s a practical, gritty little office where a lot of hard work happens every single day.
