Our location is at 93/4 on TTK Road in Alwarpet. It is an older part of the city but still very central and easy to get to. We occupy a space here where we manage different engineering and industrial projects. The office feels a bit lived-in with old desks and shelves full of thick manuals and technical drawings. You can hear the sounds of Alwarpet through the windows, mostly the cars and the occasional street vendor. We spend a lot of our day looking at technical specs or talking to people on the phone about equipment and parts. It is the kind of work that requires a lot of attention to detail, so it can get pretty quiet in here when everyone is focused. We have a small area where we keep the coffee machine, which gets a lot of use during the long afternoons. TTK Road is a major route, so there is never a dull moment if you look out at the street. Sometimes we have to go out to site visits, but this office is where all the planning happens. It is a simple setup without any modern frills. We have been working from this spot for quite a while, and we have a routine that works for us. The filing cabinets are a bit jammed, and the floor creaks in a few places, but it is our home base for all the work we do. We stay focused on the details and make sure the engineering data is correct.
