We are based in Chennai, over in the 600005 area. It’s an older part of the city, so the streets are quite tight and there’s always something going on. Our office is right in the middle of all that. We don't have a huge sign outside, so you have to look for the number to find us. The building has seen better days, but it’s home to us. We’ve got our desks set up in a way that makes it easy to talk to each other. There isn't much privacy, but it makes solving problems faster. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background. The humidity in this part of Chennai can be pretty brutal, so we have a few fans going all day long. Most of us have been with Flsmidth Pvt. Ltd for years, so we’re more like a group of friends than just coworkers. We don't have big meetings in boardrooms. Usually, we just stand around the water cooler and figure out the plan for the day. It’s a very informal way of working, but it’s how we’ve always done it. We handle a lot of different things, and every day is a bit different. It’s not a polished corporate office, but it’s where we get the job done. We just keep our heads down and work hard. That's the way it's been for a long time.
