Magis Educational Consultancy is tucked away in Room 166 on the third floor of a building on Village High Road in Sollinganallur. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of exercise every day. The road outside is usually packed with buses and cars going toward the IT corridor. It can be a bit of a headache to get here during rush hour. Our office is just a regular room filled with filing cabinets and a few desks. We spend our days helping students figure out their education plans and filling out lots of forms. It is mostly paperwork and phone calls to different colleges. We don't have a fancy reception area or a coffee machine for guests. If you come by, you'll probably just see us hunched over our computers or talking on the phone. Sollinganallur has changed a lot since we first started, but our little office has stayed pretty much the same. It is a practical place for doing practical work. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the ropes of the education system. The room gets a bit warm in the summer, but the air conditioner usually keeps things manageable. We aren't here to impress anyone with a big office. We just want to get the consultancy work done so students can move on to their next step in life.
